Request a copy of a police report?

All requests for a copy of a police report must be made in writing. You mail the request or drop it off in person. All requests received by mail MUST be notarized. The fee to obtain a copy of a report is fifty cents per page if it is picked up in person or $5.00 if it is mailed.

Get a background check?

You may obtain a copy of the background check form from the police department or you may print it out by clicking on the link. The form must be completed and submitted to the State of New Hampshire at the address on the form.

This is a free service provided by the Littleton Police Department on Friday's between the hours of 11am and 2pm. You may contact the police department at 603-444-2422 or 603-444-7711 for officer availability.

Add my residence to the house watch list?

Littleton residents requesting to have their home added to our house watch list should contact the police department prior to their departure either by mail or phone. The following information will be needed to process your request: date leaving, date returning, emergency contact information, care taker information and alarm company information (if applicable).

Request a copy of an accident report?

All requests for a copy of an accident report must be made in writing. The request should be mailed or dropped off in person to the police department. All requests received by mail MUST be notarized. The fee to obtain a copy of a report is fifty cents per page if it is picked up in person or $5.00 if it is mailed.

Get a pistol permit?

Pistol permits are issued through the police department of the town/city in which you reside. There is a $10.00 fee and is valid for four years, expiring on the permit holder's birthday. In order to obtain a concealed weapons permit an applicant must provide his/her driver's license, be at least 18 years of age, and have a criminal record check free of any felony convictions. The police department will obtain a criminal record check on the individual and note any felony or violent crimes. Domestic violence related incidents or restraining orders may prevent the issuance of a permit.

If you are a resident and would like to obtain an application you may visit your local police department or print the application by clicking on the link provided. Please submit all completed applications to the police department and allow 10 days for processing. The permit must be picked up in person and a photo ID is required before the permit is issued.

Contest a parking ticket?

To contest a parking ticket, please complete the Parking Ticket Appeal Form. You may either mail it in addressed to the Chief of Police or drop it off at the Administrative Office.

Find out the hours of operation of the parking meters?

The parking meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Handicap spaces are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Find out the hours of operation for the police department?

The Police Department Administrative Office is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (excluding holidays). There is an officer on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
